Zulily Bicycle Sleeper with Michael Miller Children At Play Blanket

When I saw this bicycle sleeper on Zulily I knew I had to get one for my soon to be here grandson.  Aaron loves bicycling and this was the perfect print to go with his hobby.  When it arrived in the mail I was very impressed at how soft the knit fabric is.  It will be a great little sleeper.  Next I had to find a fabric print that had red bicycles on it.  Michael Miller came through for me with his Children At Play line.  I purchased 1.25 yards off Etsy and made a trip to Joann's to get some blue/gray flannel.

I put both pieces of fabric through a wash/dry cycle before I started sewing.  I pinned right sides together and stitched around all four sides leaving a 5 inch opening for turning. 

I finished it with two rows of top stitching and it was complete.

How stinkin' cute is this ?  I love it!
