Well, it's official, Katie's got her own apartment. She also starts her first day of nurse intern on the labor and delivery floor of a local hospital tomorrow. Move out (in) day is June 1st. She got a really, really good deal that we are super excited about. The topsy turvy economy worked in her favor! She got a one bedroom/one bath with a washroom, living room, walk thru kitchen, and dining room with vaulted ceiling. What more does a girl need! She got the second floor to feel more secure and the complex has security systems in each apartment too.
Gas fire place!
Bedroom. No overhead lighting so we'll have to get some lamps for her.
Nice kitchen with wood laminate floors that match the cabinets.

How exciting for her! I remember my first place on my own and how excited I was. Still kinda bittersweet for Mama huh? Very nice apartment - mine was nothing like that!
