Baby Boy Quilt Is Complete

Remember this project? It is now completed! Yeah, it turned out really nice.
The picture above shows the squares all pinned on the muslin and ready to be quilted.

Here's how it looked after I got it quilted and binded and ran through the washing machine once. The last step was to cut all the loose threads, which was probably close to a zillon (because I never thought I would get through that part!). The instructions called for seams to be 1/4 inch in on each side of each square, so when it is washed it frays, and boy did it fray, in and out of the washing machine!

Here it is after all threads are clipped. I really like how it turned out. I purchased the pattern off ebay from Quilt Taffy. They have requested in their instructions not to give out details of how to make this "Charm Square" vintage baby quilt, so you will have to purchase your own pattern to get all the details.

This is my boy version, maybe sometime in the future I'll get a reason to make a girl one!
