Bradford Pear Tree Blooms Covered In Ice

The sleet and ice started this morning and lasted most of the day. Sometimes it would change to snow but then return to sleet! I watched my Bradford Pear tree all day. Their branches tend to break easy and I heard on the news that they would loose their blooms if the ice got too heavy. The above picture was taken in the early morning once it got daylight.

And here is what the blooms look like covered in ice. The ice does not show up too well in the picture but it does "highlight" the blooms making this a pretty picture !
