Green Bean Bundles

The hit of Thanksgiving 2009 were the green bean bundles (or green bean wraps). They were the best. Probably had something to do with the one stick of butter and one cup of brown sugar!
We used the following:
Three cans of whole green beans (drain the juice)
One package of low sodium bacon (slice the slab of bacon in half)
1 stick of butter
1 cup of brown sugar
1 teaspoon of garlic salt
Wrap beans in bacon strips. Melt one stick of butter in saucepan and stir in garlic salt and brown sugar to create a glaze. Pour glaze on beans and bake in 350 oven for 30 minutes. Then move the beans to broiler for 4 minutes.
We should have doubled the amount we made so there would have leftovers of these yummy bundles of beans.

Thanks to Aaron for doing the "wrapping" of the beans!
I found this recipe here.
