After Thanksgiving dinner and after all our visitors had gone home, Aaron, Stephanie and I worked on some Christmas decorations. I have two apothecary jars. Here is how we decorated one of them.
I went to Target's after Christmas sale last year and got some great deals on snow flakes, candy canes and ornaments.
We made layers of fake snow, red ball ornaments and candy canes!
It's pretty good for our first attempt with the fake snow flakes. They tended to surround and cover up the red ball ornaments and even more so when the weight of the candy canes got added to the top of the jar. After we got it all decorated, we wished we would have placed a few red ornaments in the base of the jar!!!! Maybe next year we'll remember to do that!
