Purple for Pancreatic Cancer Awareness

Christmas 2010.  We all had the same wish.  Grandma wanted to be home for Christmas.  She did not want to be in a hospital bed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.  Sheila took control and made it happen.  She coordinated doctors and phone calls and got it organized and around four o'clock Christmas Eve, grandma was chauffeured into the garage after seven days in the hospital!  One of her request for this holiday was that all her "girls" and herself get their fingernails painted purple for pancreatic cancer awareness. Stephanie was the nail tech for all those who did not want to paint their own nails.......

She also gussied up all the little girls.......Natalie and Lyndsey watching Gabby getting her nails done.....

Madison......

Katie and Natalie posing for purple nail pictures......

Me and Lyndsey showing our purple pride......
Bryana and Gabriella sitting still long enough for a quick picture!
Stephanie working on Sheila's nails.....
and Patti's too.......
There were too many pretty hands to get them all in one picture so we divided it up.  First we posed all the little girls with Grandma......Gabby, Bryana, Lyndsey and Natalie......

then we added in Sheila, Katie, Madison and Stephanie.......(the little girls were loving the hot pink snuggies Grandma got them as Christmas gifts!)
Then we got Grandma's daughters and daughter-in-laws, Patti, Susan, Judy, Luann and me.....
Life is about the moments that take your breath away......
