Riley Climbed His Mountain

For three days this almost twelve year old dog and almost blind dog had been wanting to take in the aroma of his evergreen bushes at my work place.  The obstacle was a three foot tall snow pile.  Yesterday at 5 pm, he conquered his fears and climbed his mountain (which he discovered was mostly ice).  Since Riley's legs are only about six inches tall, and he is about as round as he is long, this was a great achievement for him!  So glad I had my camera within quick reach and could document his victory!  And happy I was able to stop him before he wanted to explore what was on the other side because then I would have had to climb this pile of frozen mess!
