Sherpa Kitchen Towels

While doing some online browsing thru Etsy one day, I can across some Sherpa that was on sale.  The seller was advertising it to be used for baby diapers.  That sounded absorbent to me, so I thought it would work well for kitchen towels.  I then got lucky and found some kitchen prints on sale too.  I bought the Sherpa in blue and yellow and kitchen prints in blue limes, groceries and pears.  I already had the apple prints.

This was an easy and fast project.  I cut my rectangles at 17" X 13" for the prints and I cut the Sherpa 1 inch wider in both directions....

I stitched them together, turned them, re-pinned and top stitched....

They turned out really cute.  Family members have already claimed the pears.

It's also really bugging me that in these pictures, I did not notice that the pears are printed in one direction only and I did not turn them to have them facing in the right direction for the picture!

Scroll down to see who I have linked to this week.
