Football laces on brown onesie. I saw this idea several places in blog land and on Pinterest and had to give it a try. I already had some brown onesies I was planning on decorating for Thanksgiving so I'm taking two of those and making these football onesies. I used a white knit as opposed to a white cotton. The stitching was a little tricky. My other one is all messed up and I need to take a seam ripper to it tonight. This one though..........turned out pretty good. Here's a coordinating set for a baby girl in the lighter shade of giraffe skin print. Again I want to give credit where I got this idea. It is from Laura at Laura Thoughts. She was also sweet enough to message me let me know that I could find this lighter shade of giraffe print at Joanns (so I quickly headed there to pick some up!!). This giraffe is embellished with a tiny orange bow......

More burp cloths were made tonight to go to Stephanie this week for ROOM 5. I used up the remainder of my Parisian fabrics. I wish the Etsy seller would have had more yardage of these prints....I love them. I used the dots on a regular cloth diaper and the other prints I made with white minky stripe on the back.
and I put my personalized label on the back of each one.....
Christmas decorations are a plenty at ROOM 5 in Ozark Missouri. Daughter-in-law, Stephanie has many delightful trinkets to choose from...........these gingerbread items are my favorite. There are gingerbread ornaments to hang on the tree and tiny gingerbread people to fill up an apothecary jar......

For some of you it may seem too early to be sewing Christmas onesies, but not if you are in retail sales. Stephanie has her Christmas merchandise on the sales floor. I had to start seriously thinking about what I wanted to put in the store for this merry holiday. I'm wanting to find something different to try for the onesies besides the ties. I'm thinking Christmas trees, reindeer or candy canes. But for now, for right now, I made some of these adorable tie onesies in greens and reds with a sprinkle of gold glitter mixed in. They turned out pretty dang cute.....

Halloween has arrived at ROOM 5 Home Decor Boutique in Ozark MO......
Stephanie received her Halloween inventory a few weeks ago for ROOM 5. It's all tagged, displayed on the shelves and tables and it is all disappearing quickly! This shelving unit in particular is emptying fast. I had a little to do with it. I bought the BOO !
Katie purchased the pear candles and the pumpkin man. She's going to perch him on the side of her candy corn dish she got a couple of weeks ago at Hobby Lobby.
I was really wanting the crows on the pedestals and one of the ghost statues to go with my BOO! letters. Oh and one of those white jars that say Trick or Treat with the clown child....
and this pumpkin man would have looked really good sitting on the end of my fireplace mantel.

Now a small plug for myself ! If you are needing a Halloween onesie or a burp cloth for your little one, I've got a couple of choices in the boutique. The skull necktie onesie is very popular this year. We've got it in short sleeve and long sleeve. Sizes newborn to 24 months! Give Stephanie a call if your out of town. She'll happily get one off in the mail to you in plenty of time for the Halloween parties.....

Here is the recipe for the Twix cupcakes we made for Aaron's birthday yesterday. You will need the following:
- One chocolate cake mix with the eggs, oil and water as listed
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 small box of instant chocolate pudding mix
- Twix candy bars
- Werther's Original Chewy Caramels
- Keebler shortbread cookies
- Pillsbury butter cream frosting
Follow the directions on the cake mix box adding in the two special ingredients of the instant pudding mix (dry) and sour cream.
Place one Keebler shortbread cookie into each cupcake tin. Pour batter on top of cookies....
Push one Werther's caramel into each cupcake.....
The tricky part is determining how long to set the oven timer for. Do not follow the baking time recommendation on the cake mix box. Since the shortbread cooking is taking up some of the space as well as the caramel, baking time is greatly reduced. I think we did 12-15 minutes.
Let the cupcakes cool down and frost them with the Pillsbury butter cream frosting. Slice up the Twix candy bars and arrange a few pieces on top of each cupcake.....
