Tea Garden by Dena Designs for Free Spirit

When I saw the Tea Garden prints by Dena Designs I immediately starting thinking of the girly things I could make with these flowery fabrics.  Katie was needing a gift for an upcoming girl baby shower and when I showed them to her she approved so I was off and running with ideas.  I wanted the stripe for the binding and the white background with pink flowers for the quilt backing.
I made a mini quilt for a changing pad, cutting out 42 five inch squares of four of the fabrics.
I love the white background with pink floral print for the backing....
and the stripe pattern for the binding.  I've been addicted to using stripe fabrics for my bindings for the last year.  I love how it accents the quilt so well.  I also used the stippling technique for sandwiching it all together.  For this gift I also made two burp cloths using Gerber pre-folded six ply cloth diapers and two burp cloths made out the minky stripe and the floral prints.
